26*2mm Coarse Rubber Diamond Universal Polisher, 2.35 mm Shank Disc

Rotation Speed

  • Recommended speed: 10,000‑15,000 RPM
  • Maximum allowable speed: 20,000 RPM
  • Shank: 2.35 mm HP shank for straight lab handpiece.

Do not exceed maximum RPM to prevent disc fracture and workpiece overheating. Operate with light pressure to avoid thermal damage to zirconia restorations.

Features

  1. Flexible rubber matrix embedded with high‑concentration diamond abrasives. The elastic disc fits curved surfaces and margins for controlled material removal.
  2. Coarse grit for fast removal of CAD‑CAM milling marks, grinding scratches and surface irregularities after sintering. Used for initial coarse finishing step.
  3. Color‑coded for quick grit identification in dental laboratory.
  4. Autoclavable up to 135 °C for repeated use; replace when diamond abrasive is worn out.
  5. Large 26 mm disc face efficiently treats occlusal surfaces, buccolingual surfaces and crown shoulder margins. Sequential polishing delivers glaze‑like finish without glazing furnace.
  6. Gentle cutting performance, lower chipping risk compared with rigid diamond burs.

Application Range

✅ Suitable for:
  1. Monolithic zirconia crowns and bridges
  2. Lithium disilicate (e‑max), feldspathic porcelain and all‑ceramic restorations
  3. Coarse finishing of adjusted porcelain restorations
  4. Surface conditioning for precious and non‑precious metal copings
❌ Not suitable for:

Direct intra‑oral use on natural teeth; composite resin materials (coarse grit will leave deep scratches).

Operating Note

This coarse grit is only for preliminary grinding. Continue polishing sequence with Medium → Fine → Extra‑Fine → Ultra‑Fine. Do not use coarse grit for final high‑gloss finishing.
